  • Those who support school leaders must have a boundless knowledge of instruction, teaching and learning, and curriculum  (Wallace Foundation, 2014).

  • Without exceptional leadership, sustained and continuous student achievement will not occur.

  • Exceptional school leadership is second only to exceptional instruction (Seaford, Leithwood, Wahlstrom, and Anderson, 2010).

  • High-quality classroom instruction is the most important task that happens in a school  (Seaford, Leithwood, Wahlstrom, and Anderson, 2010).
